Why Our Customers ♥️ Us
EXCELLENT Based on 266 reviews Yemaya O2025-07-09Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I also had a pretty negative experience (like the last guy) and am pretty shocked by the positive rating. The only saving grace was the fact that the person arrived pretty quick (within 20 minutes from the time the tech called me). However, when the tech arrived, he saw the lock for maybe 2 seconds before stating that it was the kind of lock that needs to be drilled into and that is the only way to open it. For the three second job of ruining my lock, he Initially quoted me $269. To this, I replied absolutely no chance, since I was quoted $120 by another company and saw online it shouldn’t be more than $100-200. He then dropped the price to $150. Then he drilled and ruined the lock and got me in in seconds. So the total price was $150 and tbh, it seems like from what I’ve researched, he should have tried more conservative methods and only drilled as a last resort. I’m no expert, but I do have some common sense. Also, taking advantage of people in desperate situations seems pretty low on the ethics scale. Anyways, the low rating stems from the excessive in-person estimate and the lack of making conservative efforts to unlock rather than shred and ruin the lock. Todd Barnes2025-07-08Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I called for a car unlock. Locked my keys in the ignition. I have a Chevy Sonic but my technician Ben said he needs to see my car before he can quote me a price. I don't know how long he's been doing his job but he couldn't tell me until he saw my car. I said whatever, when can you be here and he said 10 minutes. It's been 20 so I called back. He says I hit traffic I'll be there in 15 minutes. Don't use these guys. Synthia Iniestra2025-07-03Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. $500 to change ONE lock and their technician Omer was so rude - zero people skills. There doesn't seem to be an actual office either - seems to be more of a call center and they send out whoever so there is no one to hold them accountable. Chad Quandt (QuandtumTheory)2025-07-03Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I feel entirely ripped off. Called to get back in my house. They couldn't give me a quote over the phone- only a $30 service fee. The contractor Ben came over quickly because he was in the area (great!), no work car or uniform (not great) and charged me $415 (awful). He couldn't unlock my door so he had to drill and destroy my door knob. Ben offered to replace my doorknob with one in his car for another $250! I realized how much they were hosing me by then. I could've just broken a window. It would've been much cheaper. Jaime Garber2025-07-03Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really awful experience. Shocked they have 5 stars and that no one else has complained. After calling a tech called me and said they wanted to know when they could come by and I had already told the first person very clearly that this was a rental property and they need to call my tenant. Then I sent pics over of the lock and the problem. Then a different tech called me asking for pictures. When I told him I just sent it over to his coworker he said he didn’t work with them, which I was very confused about cause they were the only lock smith I called. So I called the first guy back and he said ‘why did you call someone else?! I said I was going to be there!’ I said I didn’t and I don’t appreciate the attitude, gave him the number of his fellow colleague. Then they tried to charge me over $400 to pull the lock apart and try to get it to work, with no guarantee it would work past when they left. When I told him that was too much he asked what I’d like to pay, I work in construction and this shows me that they were trying to rip me off. What do you mean what would I like to pay? A good business man gives a fair price not the most they think they can rip you off for, then when I said $100-$200 max he came back with $250 and I said no and he asked me again what I would pay for it. I don’t do business with people who are trying to rip me off. Shocked this comes up as the top lock smith in west LA, horrible people!
